Work you'll do

As a Workday Financials Cut Over Lead, you should expect to be involved in the following supporting our Higher Education Clients:

+ Act as the Functional team lead

+ Manage and drive cutover activities across all workstreams.

+ Work with the project teams on business requirement definition and translation into configuration requirements in Higher-Education .

+ Take a WD system live and/or participated in such a process and led a cutover from a legacy system to a new system.

+ Be the escalation point for critical functional issue

+ Provide direction and guidance to functional consultants

+ Serve as the primary correspondent for client communications

Emerging ERP Solutions

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction. This approach differentiates itself from on-premise / cloud applications such as SAP and Oracle.

Teams, however, do more than just implement technology. They help produce sustainable business outcomes for clients by drawing on the experience and knowledge of Deloitte colleagues across service offerings and portfolios.

Our Workday practice is the implementation partner of choice for Workday's largest clients. We have over 1000 Workday certified professionals working on the most comprehensive and complex projects in North America and we are looking for high energy, committed and ambitious people to join our Workday community.

Qualifications

Required:

+ 4 years of consulting experience, preferably with a large consulting firm.

+ Deep Workday Financial knowledge and experience with multiple Workday implementation lifecycles.

+ Previous experience as a Cutover Lead.

+ Experience with a Phase 2 implementation of Workday Financials.

+ Strong Organization and Management skills.

+ Demonstrated success of hands-on experience and completed multiple full life cycle Workday FIN implementations.

+ Superior communication skills, both written and verbal

+ Experience with Excel, and Power point

+ Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

+ Workday Financials certified

+ Experience with higher education implementations.
