Job Title: Data Warehouse Analyst (DWA)

Purpose Statement (2-3 Sentences):
Describe the primary goals, objectives or functions or outputs of this position:
Client Data Science is the best-in-class team within its cross-industry peer group and is responsible for bringing people, process, and technology together to generate business value from clinical trials data. Our operational model is exemplified through execution and innovation. This role is key to ensuring successful delivery aProductst the program- and study-level accountabilities assigned to Data and Statistical Sciences.

Major Responsibilities:
List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and Product.
Create, maintain, and own the clinical database by aggregating clinical trial data from multiple sources to a centralized data warehouse resulting in a complete and accurate SAS data set. Supports data reporting, analysis, and regulatory submissions.
Accountable for accurate source to target mapping specification.
Responsible creating high quality edit checks defined as per the specification. Provides SME knowledge for clinical database edit check creation and evaluation of additional checks.
Create test plans and scripts for clinical database.
Responsible for short term/long term data transfer.
Responsible for DTS review/escalation.
Communicate status of database towards meeting goals/milestones to key stakeholders.
Triage technical issues to appropriate role.
Manage assigned activities to meet milestone dates and escalate to Program Lead when timelines at risk.
Communicate with DS study team on issues.
Ensures adherence to federal regulations and applicable local regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, Client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and to functional quality standards.

List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills, and experience.
Bachelors degree in management information systems, computer science, life sciences or equivalent. Masters preferred.
Must have 3+ years of experience with clinical database design, data loading, and database modeling concepts or 5+ years of experience in a similar technical or clinical development environment.
Demonstrated intermediate SAS and/or SQL programming skills and expert knowledge of database concepts.
Demonstrated understanding of clinical trial process.
Knowledge of CDASH and SDTM (or other applicable data standard/s per technology).
Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority.
Demonstrated effective communication skills.
Demonstrated effective analytical skills.


Length of the assignment: Will start with an year and will be extended depending on performance

b. Required Skill 2: Knowledge of CDASH and SDTM standards
c. Required Skill 3: Demonstrated intermediate SAS and/or SQL programming skills and expert knowledge of database concepts
d. Required Skill 4: Demonstrated ability to analyze and problem solve issues

3) What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required? 5+ years of experience with Bachelors degree in management information systems, computer science, life sciences or equivalent
4) What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification? Informatica mapping experience
5) What is the environment that this person will be working in (i.e. group setting vs individual role)? Individual , but team collaboration is needed
6) Is any testing required for this role? No Formal testing, but Unit testing of the mappings developed
7) Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role? If remote opportunity exists, what are the options (i.e. 1 day remote, 4 days on-site)? Flexible
