Job Description

Position Overview
The senior accountant for financial reporting prepares periodic financial statements required for external reporting. Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with bank reporting and GAAP reporting regulations and guidelines, and prepares internal reports as required.

Essential Job Functions
Support the Director of Financial Reporting with monthly EBITDA reporting.
Perform detailed monthly analysis of accounting and reporting for transition-related costs, non-recurring costs and synergies.
Collaborate frequently with non-accounting and finance personnel to develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the status of all synergy-related projects and use this understanding to forecast future transition, non-recurring and synergy-related costs.
Perform monthly reconciliations of the Company’s Transition Service Agreements.
Coordinate closely with the Integration Management Office in all reporting and analysis functions performed and maintain a status of all integration-related activities.
Support the Director of Financial Reporting with the preparation of internal and external financial reporting projects, including development of SEC reporting infrastructure.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Three to four years of experience in public accounting or financial planning, or five years of experience in corporate accounting
Advanced level skills on Excel
Analytical mindset
Ability to read and analyze financial data
Mastery of GAAP accounting fundamentals
Ability to communicate accounting information to cross-functional teams and develop relationships with other functional leaders to gain information and develop reports

Preferences
Working knowledge and experience of workday and Adaptive
CPA certification

Environment
Performs duties in an office environment during agency operating hours
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions
