POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Support development of Swinerton's industry-leading sustainability and corporate responsibility vision, goals, and strategies in partnership with Sustainability Team
- Support development of new strategic sustainability initiatives focused on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy use, and water use across Company
- Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from a wide variety of sources to identify, articulate, and visualize key sustainability trends across Company
- Perform research on federal, state, and local incentives for energy efficiency or sustainability-related projects
- Monitor sustainability-related regulations to ensure Company is compliant and strategic in our approach
- Support development of processes and guides for internal teams to improve sustainability in our offices and at projects
- Learn about and increase familiarity with sustainable construction operations plans and activities
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
- Work or academic experience in sustainability within built environment, including knowledge of USGBC certifications and green building standards
- Experience with global ESG reporting standards
- Data collection and analysis skills
- Microsoft Office
- Reliability, dependability, and flexibility
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Effective written and verbal English language communication skills
- Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting
