Attending Psychologist, Boston Children's Hospital Outpatient Eating Disorders Program
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a licensed psychologist to join the Adolescent Outpatient Eating Disorder program. The Psychologist will join a multidisciplinary assessment and treatment team in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine and will be responsible for providing initial clinical assessments and ongoing treatment services to patients with eating disorders and their families via individual, group, and family therapy. The position will include collaboration and teaching of multidisciplinary fellow trainees.
Applicants from diverse backgrounds and/or with fluency in Spanish are encouraged to apply. The position will include both virtual telemedicine and in-person care in the Boston location. The position is ideal for a psychologist interested in an academic and clinical career in eating disorder treatment and management.
The successful candidate will have experience using evidence-based and family treatments working with adolescent/young adult patients with eating disorders and their families. Additional training in CBT and DBT is preferred.
A Massachusetts health service provider license in psychology is required prior to assuming the position. Academic appointments at Harvard Medical School are likely at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Ongoing teaching and/or supervision will be required.
