We are seeking to hire a Program Support Specialist that will work on federal contract assignment at a federal power company located in Portland, OR. This Program Support Specialist 1 position will provide a wide range of program and administrative support to the Critical Business Systems (JC) department within the Information Technology (IT) organization. This position will serve as liaison between JC management, work units, support staff and other IT organizations to help the day-to day operations of the work group run smoothly. This position will also assist JC management with demand planning and other coordination activities with CBS customer organizations.
•A degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Computer Science (or closely related field) is required.
•With an applicable Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of experience is required.
•With an applicable Associates degree, 4+ years of experience is required.
•Experience should specifically include program/project coordination/control and be progressively more technical in nature.
•1+ year experience working in a government organization (federal, state, county, city, municipal or other applicable government experience).
•Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
•Intermediate skills/experience with SharePoint, sufficient to support, manage, edit, and maintain site.
•Valid U.S. Driver?s License is required.
