Sr Electrical Engineer-RTL/FPGA, HW Design

Depends on Experience.


  • At least 7 years of experience in RTL Coding utilizing VHDL and id an expert in hardware development utilizing toolset like Xilinx and Altera FPGA and experience with communication ports is plus.
  • Knowledge of design security features like Xilinx, Altera FPGA, Anti-tamper and cybersecurity features.
  • Experienced with Mentor Graphics EDA toolset for designing and simulation of circuits and familiarize with programmable logic and electronic devices which includes high speed communication, embedded processors and DSP’S.
  • Well-versed with HW design process, FPGA from concept, test and delivery.  Hardware test and integration experience with several test equipments which includes Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers and DMMS. Knowledge of programming languages which includes C/C++.
  • Develop and manage Analog and Digital design and analyze engineering design concept.
  • Create test plans for environmental testing and circuit card and formulate specification, review engineering change proposals and generate formal whitepapers and failure reports.
  • Supervise in hardware and integration in laboratory environment testing and coordinate Engineering Configuration Change Board, Corrective Action Board and Failure Review Boards.
  • Review failure data and support development and apply component design improvements.
  • Coordinate design review and test activities as required.
  • Experience with Direct Digital conversion experience, signal processing hardware experience, data link experience.
  • Collect test data utilizing Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Software Based Debugging tools, In Circuit Emulators, RF Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers
  • Knowledge with Mentor PCB Design Suite (DxDesigner, Layout, Simulation).


Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
