The Nurse Director Maternal Child Health will oversee the Women and Infant Service line, including oversight of the Labor Delivery, Mother Baby, and Neonatal Intensive Care Level III NICU departments. Supporting the Nurse Director Maternal Child Health will be the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery, Nurse Manager NICU, Nurse Manager Mother Baby Postpartum, Nurse Educators, Assistant Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses, technicians, and other ancillary staff. Responsibilities of the Nurse Director Maternal Child Health include overseeing department budgets, developing short and long term strategic growth plans, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, updating policy procedures, preparing all accreditation and survey material, assisting with creating educational programming opportunities, cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and most importantly--supporting and acting as the resource for the Women, Children and Infant Service Line team.
The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health must hold their RN license, have previous leadership experience, and hold a clinical background working in a labor delivery, mother baby, or NICU unit.
