This role is both challenging and rewarding. In this position, you will coordinate and perform payroll activities within a cloud-based Payroll and Human Resource environment for approximately 300 - 350 employees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, with a strong attention to detail mindset, along with practical experience in payroll software. Our client is looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment dedicated to excellent client service. Ability to engage and communicate with diverse populations is critical to this job. Duties Responsibilities: ? Audit electronic payroll time card data input to ensure employee job code hours are accurate and allocated to the correct department, along with verifying wages. Contacting employee or the employee?s supervisor to resolve the error may be required. ? Review payroll data to verify that employee deductions, including payroll taxes, court ordered deductions, benefit deductions, deferred compensation deductions, and other deductions are accurately processed. Insure that the monies deducted are remitted to the proper parties. ? Prepare periodic reports of earnings, benefits, taxes and deductions. ? Prepare and issue manual checks if needed. ? Ensure that employees are paid on time and paychecks are accurate. In some situations, this may require work hours outside the scheduled 40 hours per week. ? Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding clients and employees of Company. ? Empathy for those with disabilities or disadvantages required.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience Required: ? Associate?s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college/technical school in related field plus a minimum of two years full charge payroll experience; or equivalent experience of education and experience. ? Must possess strong time-management skills and be well organized and dependable. ? Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Other Requirements: ? Must pass background check ? Empathy for those with disabilities or disadvantages required Compensation Benefits: This is an hourly paid position with pay issued every two weeks.
