Medical Assistant - Fresh Start Recovery Program - Indianapolis

Our Fresh Start Recovery Center focuses on helping mothers recover from opioid and other drug addictions and have healthy children. Fresh Start Recovery Center serves pregnant women and mothers struggling with addiction. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for arranging and maintaining the medical care of our clients including new patient and ongoing patient visits. Additional duties will include assisting with medication passes, monitoring client vitals during their intake, client drug screens, prior authorizations for client medications, pharmacy runs, pregnancy testing, and coordination with external providers.  The position may administer injections

Applicants must have a high school diploma and a MA Certification including 1-year of experience working in human services preferred.  Must have a valid driver’s license.
