Regional Aggregate Director - Mountain Division

Minimum **

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, business, mining, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in mining, aggregates, or a related heavy industry.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale commercial and operational teams across multiple markets and sites.
  • At least 7 years experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and planning.

Preferred *

  • An MBA or advanced degree.
  • Strong skills in market development and customer relationship management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited *

  1. Build a safety culture in the region.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for commercial success and operations.
  3. Represent Knife River at state and local levels through relevant associations.
  4. Manage royalty agreements effectively.
  5. Prioritize and allocate resources to improve business results and promote continuous improvement.
  6. Enhance market position and participation regionally.
  7. Establish and nurture customer relationships across the region.
  8. Oversee aggregate operations and capital projects with strategic solutions.
  9. Drive initiatives for operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  10. Ensure stewardship of company assets.
  11. Identify operational deficiencies and areas for improvement.
  12. Lead business development, acquisition analysis, and integration activities.
  13. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and permits.
