The Functional Analyst’s main responsibility will be supporting core SAP environment and
related modules in an enterprise ERP landscape. This role will join in the team effort of implementing and supporting new SAP functionality, including extended warehouse management. They will work closely with business teams to resolve production issues as well as create functional specifications for code-based solutions and will then be responsible for testing and validating changes. The successful Functional Analyst will seek out new opportunities for improvement to the system and training the business on those changes. Will be responsible for the functional configuration of our SAP EWM environment to allow for efficiencies in the warehouse. This person will be responsible for addressing current issues within the system. Testing and working with developers for code related solutions. This role will continue to support and provide issue resolution for Hudson DC and provide ongoing support to all live DCs. Will be responsible for the successful implementation in AL and CA. Ensure proper documentation for all processes related to EWM.
Responsibilities extend to most aspects of core business, including the Store Support Center
(SSC), distribution centers and over 800 retail stores. The total user environment consists of over
22,000 team members.

• Application Design- Assist with the architecture and design of system and
process solutions that support the functional specifications and the framework of
our IT strategy and technical platform. Ensures technical solution designs are
consistent with departmental standards.
• Application Build- Builds solutions either through application configuration that
meets or exceed documented business requirements. Configuration
development of applications that conform with development standards and
sound coding practices.
• Systems Testing- In cooperation with other IT teams, plans, designs and
executes end-to-end tests that ensure solution design and implementation meet
or exceed the documented solution requirements.
• Systems Support- Provides support for current production systems. Resolves
problems and incidents in compliance with established resolution SLAs.
Determines and documents root cause of problems. Works on improving systems
and processes ensuring simplicity, stability and efficiency. Perform initial analysis
of incoming incidents and determine if it can be resolved immediately or needs
to be managed as a bug/enhancement
Travel – Very limited travel to stores, distribution centers and vendor locations may be required in support of projects and maintenance activities.
Education & Experience
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree – Computer science or related field
Required 2-4 (Mid Level Professional) Relevant supply chain experience
Preferred Preferred (Describe) Retail environment a plus
Preferred 0-2 (Entry Level Professional) Relevant professional experience in an SAP environment
