Surveillance Cage Specialist $23.00 Per Hour

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Reviews surveillance cage footage to track discrepancies such as shortages and overages.
2. Acts as a liaison between the Surveillance and Cage departments.
3. Some knowledge of cage computer systems as well as surveillance software and systems.
4. Helps institute and enforce company policies and procedures.
5. Keeps all equipment in working order and all supplies in stock.
6. Reports daily activities to the Surveillance Manager.
7. Handles any problems that may arise with professionalism and tact.
8. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by Surveillance Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years cage operations experience and preferable knowledge of surveillance systems equipment and software, although not required.

Education: High School Diploma and /or equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and phone skills with levels of employees and management. Good interactive skills and positive attitude. Must be computer literate and be an ethical decision maker. Must have some knowledge of basic cage operations and the ability to assume tremendous responsibilities and demonstrate excellent leadership and organizational skills.

Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary. Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. Must demonstrate an ability to work independently, prepare detailed professional correspondence, memoranda, policies, procedures as well as regulations related to the employee's duties. A general knowledge of the Windows based computer operating systems is also required.
