JOB TITLE: Core Finisher (2nd Shift)
COMPANY: HKA Enterprises – for Chromalloy
LOCATION: Tampa, FL 33619
PROJECTED HOURS: Monday – Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM (2nd Shift)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: Contract to permanent (depending on performance)
COMPENSATION: $11.00-$11.50/hr (depending on experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visual Inspection of product for defects.
- All core finishing operations (Die Line, Tie Bar, and Flash Removal, Repairs).
- Core Prep operations for Wax Injection.
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Candidate must adhere to all process documentation.

- Experience with injection molding is a plus.

Education and/or Experience:
High school education or equivalent life experience and three to six months related experience or training. Ability to learn and to operate all injection machines, and perform all functions of wax injection operation to include placement of patterns in wax setters or fixtures after injection.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and work instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to record information on a daily basis. Ability to speak and listen effectively to follow instructions in English. Ability to write and speak complete sentences and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to add and subtract two and three digit numbers and to perform simple multiplication and division.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
