Clinical Trainer - Great Plains / TX

The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of the Phonak Lyric and daily wear sales and profitability objectives by providing audiological and technical training designed to increase Clinician/Dispenser knowledge, skills and familiarity with the Phonak product lines. The trainer must regularly communicate information on account and competitive activities to sales and sales management personnel and provide effective Clinical service to assigned customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical and educational specialist for their geography
  • Play key role in promotion and demonstration of new solutions during new product launch trainings
  • Support sales of all products within specified geography; work closely with Territory Managers
  • Needs analysis and provide product solutions for accounts
  • Maintain strong relationships and rapport with customers within geography
  • Work closely with sales to ensure all Clinical needs are met through personal or group product training
  • Provide remote support for customers by phone and e-learnings as required
  • Represent Phonak and speak at national, state and regional meetings
  • Participate in Open Houses and other consumer marketing events
  • Comply with internal policies and procedures for documenting Clinical visits in CRM system on a daily basis
  • Maintain expense reporting weekly and manage specified geography with in OPEX guidelines
  • Handle more complex Clinical accounts; will be asked to assist Territory Managers on complex issues with customers
  • Work with other Phonak resources when needed; ability to coordinate and use inside and outside resources for complex customer accounts and/or issues
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

Your profile

Education and Skill Set:

  • Master’s Degree in Audiology - Au.D preferred
  • Knowledge of sales process, hearing aid technology, and industry practices
  • Demonstrates successful fittings of Phonak products
  • Ability to maintain and build strong relationships
  • Strong problem solving abilities and capability to work under pressure
  • Excellent follow through skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Must possess strong understanding of competitors’ products
  • Experience with CRM systems
