Performs as the program’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) expert. Ensures compliance with GDIT, Federal and DoD import and export policies and procedures; ensures that program Plans, standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions are aligned to current export control requirements.
Coordinates with GDIT International Trade Compliance to ensure program activities comply with technical regulatory and classification guidance, post-entry work, binding rulings, and the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) and relevant sections of Joint Publication 4-01 - The Defense Transportation System.
Regularly coordinates with program shipping staff at CONUS and OCONUS warehouses.
Additionally, performs logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Develops and implements logistics program activities including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), technical documentation, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Cost (RAM-C), provisioning, etc.; coordinates efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolves logistics problems; compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.Education
BA/BS - may substitute technical certifications such as Certified Export Specialist (CES), or relevant military or industry experience.Qualifications
