Derived Salary: $81K - $100K/Year
Overview Tecolote Research is seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to join our National Capital Programs Group. The is full-time onsite position at Join Base Anacostia/Bowling in Washington, DC and requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility. The expected salary range is $70,000 - $130,000 and is dependent a variety of factors, including total years of relevant experience, academic achievement, and relevant professional certifications. Responsibilities .cs412B2392{text-align:left;margin:0pt 0pt 0pt 0pt;list-style-type:disc;color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Arial;font-size:8.5pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal} .cs2BCB78B7{color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Tahoma;font-size:8.5pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;} * As a Cost Analyst, you will be supporting the U.S Navy across a portfolio of critical programs by developing cost estimates and models, performing cost analysis, and analyzing vendor proposals to support contract negations and awards. * You'll be required to analyze and integrate large datasets from a variety of sources in order to develop well documented and defendable estimates.
* The cost models you utilize and develop will support a variety of supplemental efforts, including What-If analysis, Business Case Analysis, and budget requests. * The analysis and recommendations you present will enable senior leadership to make critical strategic decisions. * Minimum of 3 years' experience performing cost estimating or financial/business case analysis * Familiarity with industry standard EVM analysis tools (Microsoft Excel, ACEIT, etc.)
* B.S in Economics, Business, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field
* Willingness to work full-time onsite in a classified environment
* Excellent communication and presentation skills Nice to Have: * Experience supporting DoD Program Offices * Experience working in a classified environment
* Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and GAO/DoD Cost Estimating Guides * Project Management Professional (PMP)
* International Cost Estimating and Analysis (ICEAA) Certification
* Advanced Degree (MBA, etc..) Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
