The Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Controller with month end close processes and perform various daily accounting and finance functions. The Financial Analyst will also assist in the budgeting and forecasting process. Your responsibilities - Perform Month End Close Processes - Drive P L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis - Survey performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution - Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations - Produce and manage forecasting reports - Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources - Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support - Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary - Work on monthly and quarterly financial close processes in collaboration with the Accounting team - Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are executed properly For More Information reach out to Cole McHargue at
- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently -Experience with month end close, the general ledger and the total P/L -Experience with financial data management processes systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau- Month end closings experience desired - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience preferred - Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience considered) - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Excellent oral and written communications skills - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field For more Information reach out to Cole McHargue at firstname.lastname@example.org
