Job Description

This position is responsible for all applicable Contractor Property Outcomes of the Government Property Management System, including the maintenance of records and issuance of required reports concerning government-owned property from its receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract completion or termination. Position includes self-assessment and support of the Government's annual survey of the Government PropertyManagement System. Acts as a liaison with internal and external customers to resolve government property issues.

Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education
Solid working knowledge of FAR part 45, 52.245, DFARS part 245 and 252.211 and the other contract clauses dealing with government property. Writing skills must be adequate to write procedures implementing FAR/DFARS changes and make the necessary reports and correspondence. Good working knowledge of in-plant managerial relationships and operations. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to interface with government representatives and internal departments. Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Good planning, time management and organization skills. Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with Company personnel, customers, and suppliers. Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents.
Proficiency in use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database development programs (such as Word, Excel, Business Objects, and Access). Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
