Century Group is excited to share a great opportunity with one of our clients in the private equity industry. They are in search of a Senior Tax Accountant who will assist with the tax compliance functions their real estate partnerships, REIT's, and funds. This position will be reporting to the Tax Manager.

Job Description:

• Review tax returns prepared by 3rd party accounting firms.
• Prepare in-house tax returns and internal quarterly & annual tax projections.
• Assist in quarterly estimated tax calculations for corporate blockers.
• Assist in reviewing and tracking state and US tax withholding payments on behalf of investors.
• Assist in annual and quarterly REIT compliance of both debt and equity funds.
• Assist in responding to federal and state tax notices.
• Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
• Strong accounting and analytical skills

• Experience using Prosystems and/or Gosystems tax software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Minimum of 3 years of public tax accounting experience in the real estate industry.
• Is a CPA or CPA candidate.
