This position is an ONSITE role in Louisvlle, KY

What You Will Do

The Production Support Engineer II is responsible for Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) and other electrical subsystem hardware. We are seeking candidates with the skills and passion to engineer complex systems, subsystems, circuit card assemblies, and components.

The Production Support Engineer will participate in a multi-disciplined team and properly apply engineering tools and processes. This role requires collaboration and coordination with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and process issues including CCA and components
  • Resolve production line and testing issues (including supplier issues)
  • Perform failure / root cause analysis and implement corrective action
  • Perform analog and digital circuit analysis
  • Characterize electronic subsystem signals in simulation
  • Identify and instantiate circuit card and subassembly design updates
  • Travel to suppliers may be required


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree
  • Typically requires minimum two (2) years relevant work experience in an Electrical Engineering Production environment
  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or related STEM degree
  • Knowledge of analog, digital, or mixed signal analysis/design
  • Radio Frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic coursework and/or laboratory
  • Knowledge of high-level programming languages, such as: BASIC, C/C++
  • Experience with electrical software, such as: Mentor Graphics, DxDesigner, PSPICE, Advanced Design System (ADS)
  • Experience with common test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Logic Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.
