Job Description


Provide support on Client, Dell, Lenovo, IBM, Oracle, and SuperMicro servers
Provides hardware support on Cisco and Juniper network hardware
Assists with maintaining inventory of spare parts
Performs tape library rotations
Ensures all work is completed to customer specifications
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation as necessary

Purpose:*
Provides 1st level 24/7 break-fix support for IT hardware as specified by or utilized in customer environment. Required Skills Problem solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize tasks
Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Experience using ticket-based systems Required Education Required Years of Experience HS diploma or GED
2+ years experience servicing hardware in a data center environment
A+, Network +, Server + strongly desired
Specific training by Client, Dell, Lenovo, IBM, Oracle, and SuperMicro strongly desired
Experience with Netbackup desired
