Marine Engineer

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for managing all responsibilities and tasks for the Marine Mechanic position.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and participate in diesel engine repairs

- Install new systems and repair vessel media systems and pilothouse electronics

- Maintain a good relationship between the company and contractors

- Oversee all company pumps and pump systems

- Manage projects and oversee the building of parts and system design

- Train mechanics

- Organize the workload in a reliable and effective manner

Qualifications:

- Must have 2 years of industry experience

- Full knowledge of electricity and safe industry practices

- HAZWOPER Certificate

- Forklift Certification

- Must have experience with Brazing, Welding, and Soldering.
