I. General Summary:
Support the new launch program gate review meetings for Filter Powertrain and/or Seats/Interiors business in North and South America to determine status of programs at critical milestones. Coordinate top management attendance, formulate meeting agenda, organize meeting logistics, collect meeting data/presentations, and follow-up open issues.
II. Essential Job Functions:
A.Schedule management representatives to attend program gate review meetings at appropriate program timing.
B.Obtain, review, and organize information from multiple departments to assist members in presenting appropriate and accurate information.
C.Lead actual gate review meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
D.Obtain management approvals for meeting minutes and distribute to appropriate members.
E.Follow-up on required action items resulting from open issues noted during gate review meeting.
III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Additional trade education and Quality certifications are preferred.
*Greater than four (4) years of relevant experience.
*Technical experience in automotive administration preferred.
*1-3 years of launch or production quality experience required.
*Two (2) years of automotive program management, production control, or engineering administration preferred.
*Previous exposure to a multicultural office environment preferred.
*General understanding and working knowledge of TBA plants and processes, company products, trade terminology, quality management and control systems and techniques, manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment, and machine operation.
*General understanding and working knowledge of Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) APQP and/or Toyota SQAM.
*Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering documents such as automotive drawings (parts and components, assembly, and equipment), technical standards, general tolerances, critical characteristics, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T, Engineering Change Instructions (ECI), Prototype Parts Requests (PPR), and color instructions.

*Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
*Japanese is preferred, but not required.
*Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.).
*Experience using Minitab or other statistical program preferred.
*Experience using computer controllers (CNC/PLC) preferred.
IV. Work Environment/Conditions:
Office: Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.
Plant: Standard automotive plant environment with moderate noise level. PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as safety glasses, steel toe shoes, hearing protection, etc. may be required in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial areas. Personal attire standards may apply.
Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time with the ability to travel within North America, Latin America, and South America.
V. Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time and may be occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
