About the job
Delta-T Group is known for our thirty (30) years of providing reliable referral solutions for small and large social and human service organizations; all levels of state and local government agencies (aging, family, children services); behavioral health agencies; children's and adult IDD population residential populations; as well as, public and charter schools.

As part of our Residential Team, you will be providing long-term residential support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group or one on one living setting. The goal of the IDD Residential Program is to provide long-term residential support for individuals with a primary diagnosis of an IDD. The Programs focus on the development of practical living skills. Staff will focus on teaching the residents daily living skills to increase their independence, which includes everything from grooming to completing household chores and preparing meals. In order for residents to become more active members of their community, residents may volunteer and take part in community based activities.

Responsibilities
" Provide compassion and emotional support to the residents
" Assists residents with tasks they are no longer able to perform, such as cooking, bathing, dressing and light housekeeping.
" Assess needs and notify house managers
" Companionship
" Monitor residents abilities and performance and make suggestions to care plans.
