Special Inspector – Bakersfield, CA

Krazan & Associates, Inc. is looking for a Special Inspector with ICC Reinforced Concrete certification to join our team in Bakersfield, CA.

We need an experienced professional who is comfortable being actively engaged on construction sites performing field testing. The candidate must be able to read and understand structural blueprints and current code requirements.

Qualifications:

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 3 years of ICC certified inspection experience, and good organizational skills. Must have a current valid driver's license and good driving record.

Special Inspectors with ICC Certifications in the following areas are a plus:

• ICC Commercial Building Inspector


• ICC Pre-stressed Concrete Special Inspector


• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector


• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Special Inspector


• ICC Soils

For your safety, keep this in mind: You need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time, walk on uneven ground, perform work inside areas of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods; work outdoors under varying temperatures and weather conditions; regularly lift and/or move 75 lbs. You will be expected to work safely during all phases of performing the job duties by following all regulations, safety procedures, and employment policies. You must have and maintain a good driving record and be insurable under our company vehicle policy.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hourly. Compensation varies with experience and certifications.
