Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Cost and Commercial Management Discipline Leader to support our Places - Project and Program Management (PgM) team in North America. In this role, you will lead a growing team, serve as a technical expert, deliver projects on the budget, and lead employee experience, client experience and service vision and transformation for the North America Cost and Commercial Management Discipline.

This position can be based out of any US office.

Role accountabilities:

Client Focus and Experience

* Continuously improve North America's Cost and Commercial Management competitive position through strong client delivery, developing capabilities (e.g., technical expertise, commercial skills), and driving cost competitiveness
* Develop relationships throughout the Arcadis North American business to foster cooperation and to maximize opportunities to cross-sell and collaborate
* Act as a lead technical expert, providing strategic guidance to others on cost and commercial management matters, in order to support successful delivery of projects
* Champion client care and key client management to by proactively strengthening and broadening client relationships and enhancing the value of the Arcadis brand in the market
* Maintain oversight of the bid process by taking an active role in bid/no-bid decisions, overseeing client proposals and maintaining the business development pipeline

Deliver Service

* Own and deliver the service transformation milestones in the global services roadmap as agreed with the PgM Area Leader, Operations Director, and Service Leader
* Seek to continuously develop processes and lead the implementation of new cost and commercial management system improvements, working to improve services, drive innovation and enhance project delivery

People & High-Performance Culture

* Lead, motivate and manage a team of technical specialists, setting objectives, reviewing performance and developing skills to ensure efficient cost and commercial management services to projects
* Develop a culture that is client-centric, innovative and people focused to ensure we achieve our aspirations for client experience
* Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of business leaders through coaching and mentoring
* Drive and plan for diverse and inclusive teams
* Lead business change and transformation in the discipline ensuring adoption
* Manage resources focusing on deployment, recruitment, retention, personal development and the establishment of robust progression plans
* Drive improvement on engagement using 'your voice' survey

Operational Performance

* Own and deliver operational and financial performance of the discipline area in line with overall Arcadis strategy and targets of the BA on in country level.
* Oversee the financial performance of cost and commercial management projects and scope across their life cycle, taking responsibility for costs, schedules and efficiency to ensure profit and budgetary targets are met and best value outcomes are achieved
* Own the evolution of the workforce pyramid to meet the strategic needs of the business
* Deliver growth of the GEC for Cost and Commercial Management support and delivery
* Coordinate with the Growth organization to identify, select and grow new clients, and targeting existing clients to deliver revenue growth, bookings and margin to meet or exceed planned targets

We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $116000 - 200100 / year.
