My client, a prestigious, dynamic organization is seeking a talented Director of Investment Operations to lead within its growing internal investment management function. A very accomplished, talented, and lively group of professionals will work alongside you. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing portfolio reporting and attribution, including performance analytics, exposures, and benchmarks Managing key vendor relationships (custodian, CRM, risk management systems, market data vendors, brokerage, external counsel, etc.) Managing execution of investments, including subscription documents, capital calls, rebalancing, amendments, legal review, corporate actions, etc. Working closely with Finance colleagues to facilitate execution of capital calls, subscriptions, distributions, and redemptions, and collaborate with Finance and the custodian to ensure accurate recordkeeping and investment accounting (processing transactions and valuations) Collaborating with internal Audit colleagues and external auditors on annual audit processes Managing and tracking internal budget Continual refinement of investment documentation and knowledge management processes and procedures Integrating technology systems and improve data management Reviewing reports provided by external operational due diligence provider and render independent opinion on operational risks Developing operational due diligence capabilities to facilitate internal operational due diligence review of select strategies If you are interested please send your resume in confidence to Email blocked - click to apply
7+years experience Bachelor's degree in Graduate degree or CPA preferred Current or previous experience with $1B-$10Billion in endowment funds highly preferred Experience leading the reporting, operations or middle office function at an asset management firm preferred Experience with operational due diligence, performance reporting/attribution, cash controls and operational workflows Previous exposure to traditional and alternative investment strategies preferred If you are interested please send your resume in confidence to firstname.lastname@example.org
