Job Description

Summary: Grow the business and ensure proper inventory levels and financial measures are achieved by analyzing POS and purchases, communicating trends and suggesting actions for improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Forecasting:

    • Managing the inventory for regular demand, promotional demand, new store orders, new product load-ins, acquisition of new items, and weather-related demand.

    • Responsible for managing the forecasts for the entire Rust-Oleum account at Menards, approx. 1,600 SKUs

    • Communicate with the forecasting team if there are any discrepancies

  • Stores/SKUs

    • Verify that all SKUs are set up correctly for an existing store and new store openings

    • Create new store orders based on shelf space and sales history at similar existing Menards locations in the same market

    • o Monitor the inventory levels at the new store to ensure proper replenishment

  • Reporting

    • Create ad-hoc reporting for both Menard Inc. and Rust-Oleum brands using MSI reporting software ( Micro Strategy Intelligence)

Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree

  • 2 years of related experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong analytic skills

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel

  • SAP
