The processing manager is responsible for managing a team of mortgage processors who are responsible for facilitating the closing and funding of loans within our established loan origination system (Encompass) and ensuring that company and program guidelines, policies and procedures are followed. The manger is also responsible for ensuring that loan documents are prepared compliantly with no variances between signed documents and loan origination system data. Additionally the manager facilitates the interaction between all interested parties with specific emphasis on the borrower’s customer experience. The manager ensures that the processing team achieves and maintains the highest levels of productivity and efficiency within the company prescribed parameters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Training and Development with the creation and updating of job aids and training, as warranted, to make processing procedures as efficient as possible.
Analyze reports from the loan origination system as to apply to the management of the Processing team.
Address pertinent questions and inquiries for both internal and external parties.
Direct employees in the processing department on the company’s processes and procedures as they pertain the Encompass loan origination system.
Manage department workflow resulting in efficiencies as expressed from Senior Management.
Assist in resolving escalated customer inquiries including but not limited to: processing status, funding regarding payments, escrows, or any other issue that may arise.
Manage internal and external expectations on timelines, and processes, as it pertains to the Processing team.
Assist post-closing manager, as requested, to obtain resolutions on closed loan issues.
Assist with the assignment of files to appropriate processing staff.
Manage and perform multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Respond to QA and QC monthly audit findings on loan level as requested.
Responsible for timekeeping and performance reviews of direct reports.
Ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining the highest of quality.

Experience dealing with regulatory compliance (RESPA, TILA, TRD, AIR, Reg X, Reg Z)
Knowledge of preparation and calculation of mortgage loan closing documents
Knowledge of title insurance commitments and exceptions and legal descriptions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree preferred.
5 years of mortgage processing experience required.
2 years of management within the mortgage industry
Experience in Encompass LOS is highly preferred.
