The Philadelphia Children's Crisis Response Center is a new program for the triage, intervention and stabilization of children and adolescents between the ages of 3 through 17, who are experiencing behavioral and psychiatric crisis.  This continuum of care includes a crisis and transitional unit that provides brief treatment and/or stabilization in an age appropriate, family centered, trauma informed environment. 

The Philadelphia Children's Crisis Response Center (PCCRC) is currently seeking a Part time (16 Hours per Week), Day Shift, Behavioral Health Associate.

Under the direction and supervision of a professional nurse, the Behavioral Health Associate, performs and assists with various tasks in the Philadelphia CRC, including basic patient care, and direct and indirect diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.  This position requires providing services to the following age population; children and adolescents age 3 y/o to 17 y/o, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served.

The ideal candidate will:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) along with at least 12 behavioral health college credits and 2 years experience in Human Services and/or Behavioral Health with children and adolescents or a Bachelor's degree in a human services field and 1 year experience in Human Services and/or Behavioral Health with children and adolescents required.  
• Current CPR certification is required.
