About the Role

The FTI Sr. Technical Sales Consultant role will be responsible for providing support on a unique enterprise level software and services solution for various customers. The Sr. Technical Sales Consultant will work directly with FTI Sales and Consulting organization to support them in developing and growing existing client relations. The Sr. Technical Sales Consultant will play a key role in mapping and driving the FTI solution and technology discussions to maintain and grow relations.

What You'll Do
  • Provide technical sales support throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities and revenue
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and monitor for opportunities for cross sell
  • Explain product capabilities, limitations, and implementation requirements and describe technical tradeoffs and implementation alternatives while balancing revenue opportunities
  • Identify and develop innovative solutions to customer requirements while managing customer expectations
  • Works with Sales team and project team to put together quarterly business reviews
  • Works with Sales team and project team to put together year end retrospectives and opportunities for improved relationship
  • Create customized Monthly/Quarterly reporting, historical invoicing reports and usage metrics
  • Facilitate conflict checks, price list maintenance, and lead annual recertification
  • Approximately 10% to 20% travel to client sites


Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a technically oriented, client-facing role - strong sales, sales engineer and/or account manager
  • 5+ years of experience with project management, consulting, and pre-sales
  • Bachelor's Degree. JD preferred
  • COVID Vaccine required*


Preferred skills
  • Strong knowledge of technology in the legal IT sector, ideally in e-discovery and/or IG
  • Project management or consulting experience
  • Ability to analyze and map customer needs to FTI solutions
  • Strong trouble-shooting and creative problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly
  • Exemplary communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate independently with a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and flexibility
