Position Summary

The Program Administrator will work to deliver programs for students in their first and second years at NYU, including the early college seminar and Year 2 at NYU. Responsibilities include, building and maintaining the learning management system. Developing and providing course materials and instructor resources. Ensuring curriculum planning and instructor/course scheduling adheres to University policy. Managing instructor compensation procedures. Executing student and instructor programs, trainings, and special events, overseeing the expenditure of related funds. This role will design and analyze qualitative and quantitative assessments and make recommendations for future improvement. Collaborate with colleagues within the Changemaker Center and with school-based colleagues to ensure alignment and cohesion. Represent the Changemaker Center and design strategy for campus-wide outreach on behalf of the unit. Support the work of the Changemaker Center by building and managing application platforms and learning management systems and procedures and supporting students who seek out our programs.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years of related experience administering programs and/or services to college students, including planning and implementing educational programs, creating new systems and procedures, and managing data and information, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
Relevant experience in a school or college environment, supporting academic functions, administrative or teaching staff, and student leaders, or equivalent combination.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to work independently to develop creative solutions to complex challenges. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and communicate with diverse populations and stakeholders. Knowledge of standard office productivity software.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Working knowledge of higher education practices. Creating and executing program assessments. Working knowledge of social media platforms, graphic design programs, event management, and/or learning management software.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
