Job Description & Summary

As Oracle PaaS Lead, we're looking at a next generation enterprise architect to work with Oracle BOS EMFI and the connected ecosystem of BOS (Business Operating System) program to transform our enterprise IT landscape. The expert will engage with different Project Managers and User groups to understand their business drivers, assess application portfolios, understand automation needs, design reliable and scalable cloud infrastructures for process automation to drive business values. Oracle OCI provides automation platforms for projects covering financial applications to enterprise SaaS extensions running on a scalable cloud infrastructure, demonstrating the value of process automation using fully managed cloud infrastructure.

The PaaS Lead should be well versed with how automation is changing business and model their highest priority business processes, in a 100% graphical environment, with/without coding.

As a PaaS Lead, you'll define how OCI Process automation needs to evolve to become pervasive into the Oracle and non-Oracle business customer base, while integrating with other PaaS, SaaS, and BOS applications. You'll work within a team pushing the boundaries of BPM modeling, server infrastructure using micro services, mobile/UI technology (JQuery), integration (from REST to Complex Event Processing), and the latest cloud technologies/standards to build a next generation process cloud platform. You'll be designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the CI (Continuous Improvement) team, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifics, design and develop software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Provides leadership in the development and strategic direction of new products, processes, techniques. Acts as primary consultant on large projects that affect the organization's long term objectives / strategy.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:

* Engaging with different Territory and user groups to understand process automation needs

* Identifying motivators for cloud adoption and unlocking Enterprise challenges

* Analyzing application portfolios, identifying dependencies & common infrastructure platform components, and assessing extension, automation needs

* Architecting a Process automation platform leveraging technology clusters and patterns

* Presenting innovation ideas and high scale improvements in architecture to Executives

* Including BOS EMFI Program Leadership

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree; Masters degree preferred

* 15+ years of Development experience as a technical architect for large products with at least 3 years of Oracle Fusion experience

* Experience across Oracle technologies such as SaaS, PaaS, OIC and Oracle Reporting

* Experience leading team of technical developers and setting standards for coding, design performance and supportability

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations

* Strong skills in planning, defining and driving design to implementation

* Ability to work with team spread across multiple geographic locations

* Cloud based architecture knowledge

* Hand on coding to provide quick POC and critical implementation pieces

Additional Qualifications

Process automation (BPM) / CASE Management knowledge

Decision Service / Production rules knowledge

Broad Enterprise systems experience including Oracle SaaS, Sales Force, Workday and other cloud SaaS applications

A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise products

Familiarity with industry compliance and standards including OAuth etc.

We are looking for a strong Engineering architect to help in the core OCI development efforts of next generation cloud products we are building. As a PaaS Lead you will help a talented team of Engineers to build and deliver distributed, scalable and highly performant solutions on OCI. PaaS Lead role in the BOS EMFI CI development team will require very strong technical as well as interpersonal skills. Architect should have at least 5 years of application development experience. Knowledge of Cloud as well as BPM /Case management is a strong plus. Strong knowledge in JAVA, JavaScript, JQuery, and Oracle DB knowledge is preferable.
