BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at Morton Plant Hospital. In 2021, Morton Plant Hospital continues to be a leader in its field, having been nationally recognized by IBM Watson Health as one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the country for the 8th time. The 599-bed facility provides highly technical and specialized care to more than 50,000 patients annually and works in more than 50 specialty areas.

The Information Desk Clerk responsibilities include:

+ Greeting and assisting patients, visitors and guests

+ Answering requests for patient information from telephone callers and walk in visitors

+ Directing them to their proper destination

+ Serving as point of contact for vendors to make appropriate referrals

+ Identifying and badging visitors

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience is 1 year Customer Service or 1 year BayCare Volunteer.

Qualifications:

**Certifications and Licensures**

+ None Required

**Education**

+ High School or Equivalent

+ Preferred: Associate's Health Sciences

**Experience**

+ 1 year Customer Service or BayCare Volunteer

+ Preferred: 6 months Related Field

**Specific Skills**

+ Work with a team

+ Computer skills appropriate to position

+ Work independently

+ Customer service skills

+ Written and verbal communication skills

+ Interpersonal skills

+ Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
