WuXi Biologics Norristown, PA Full-Time
Job Summary: The Warehouse Inventory Specialist will be part of the Operations team and will focus on maintaining, controlling, tracking and issuing inventoried materials to laboratory personnel. The Associate will maintain appropriate documentation and provide support of all Warehouse activities and materials distribution in a safe environment.

Essential Job Functions:

* Responsible for inventory management in support of PD or QC laboratory functions.
* Perform defined processes for physical counting, storage and replenishment and manages within the electronic inventory management system.
* Perform cycle counts as necessary for inventory accuracy and control.
* Prepares, reviews and maintains documentation, and runs reports as required.
* Trains and follows standard operating procedures and work instructions and comply with site defined regulations and safety guidelines.
* Ensures warehouse stored materials are secured and environment complies with facility safety requirements and procedures.
* Assist drafting SOPs for inventory of materials, and consumables distribution.
* Tracks inventory of materials and ensures adequate supply of consumables is maintained.
* Monitors inventory life cycle and alerts management of any actionable inventory requirements and disruption to supply.
* Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed.
* Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned.

Experience / Education:

* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Associates degree preferred.
* Minimum 2 years relevant experience within warehouse operations.
* Previous experience receiving, and inventory control.
* Experience in biotech/biopharma industry is desirable.
* Experience using material handling equipment, SAP, or similar inventory management system is desirable.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

* Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
* Basic understanding of railway, dock, and GMP warehouse procedures.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures at the site and on the loading dock.
