Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper needed
$17 to $18 an hour
We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, light bookkeeping, and invoicing duties.
Welcome visitors and providing assistance as needed
Monitor and maintain office equipment; inventory supplies and order replacement supplies as needed
Create, update, and maintain personnel records, financial records, and other records/data
Assist with bookkeeping
Support department managers, staff, and CEO
Organize conference room scheduling, equipment, and cleaning
Organize catering, coffee, or other refreshments as needed
Monitor incoming and outgoing mail; receive and sign for mail/packages from couriers and deliver to the proper recipient
Prepare correspondence, documentation, or presentation materials
Assist other departments with administrative or clerical support
High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field preferred
Prior experience handling administrative responsibilities or related field 2 years minimum
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Quickbooks
Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Company is a reprographics firm in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego. Looking for someone who can work independently and doesn't require a lot of direct supervision. Someone who can anticipate issues before they become problems and address them immediately.
