- This position performs research and analysis and provides logistical support for the state and federal Government Relations function in the County Executives Office.
- Researches, tracks, and apprises Director of legislative issues; manages legislative records and files; serves as information coordinator with other offices within and outside the County; plans and organizes special local and state legislative meetings; provides staff support to Legislative Director and Boards Legislative Committee; produces documents for development of the Board of Supervisors Legislative Program and meetings of the Legislative Committee; provides basic technical assistance and training on database software and office equipment; monitors and orders supplies. Some travel may be required, generally to Richmond.
