Job Description

WSFS Bank is currently seeking college students working toward a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering or related  Information Technology disciplines.  The WSFS bank internship opportunity is a paid internship and consists of a 40 hr/wk schedule and is located at WSFS's Operations Center in North Wilmington, DE.  The hired candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored petition for a visa, such as an H-1B visa.  WSFS Bank does not intend to file any visa applications in connection with this opening.

The ADS and the Operations & Technology NTS Interns will be working on a team with mentorship from Senior Software Engineers on different departmental software development projects.  Knowledge of Java & Javascript required, experience and/or knowledge of JSON (Javascript Object Notation), RESTful services (Representational State Transfer) and databases a plus. 

The Network and Technical Services Interns will assist department members in various tasks including providing Level I support on the Service Desk to internal associates, performing daily/weekly/monthly production verification, assist in testing new and existing applications and will assist in communication/implementation tasks of various Microsoft and Voice & Data CISCO applications.  This will include maintaining high quality service delivery while analyzing, developing and implementing improved processes.   Candidates must have specific knowledge and preferably, previous experience in this particular subject area (prior Help Desk or Deskside experience preferred), excellent customer service skills, and be able to complete detailed, specialized work in this area. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Must have completed a minimum of one full year of college. 
• Working towards a degree in Information Technology related discipline.
• Must have basic knowledge in a variety of Information Technology skills. 
• Computer hardware components knowledge is a plus for Network and Technical Services positions. 
• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills in order to communicate with vendors and service providers via telephone, email and live chat sessions. 
• Must have reliable transportation.  
• Must be able to lift 45 lbs. 
• Must be able to work through August 17, 2018.
• Must be available for on-site assessment and interview with Human Capital Management at our Bank Center in Wilmington, DE.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  
• Incumbent will be required to stand regularly when performing teller transactions. 
• Incumbent may be required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
• The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items over head, occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, see, read and write. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• This position requires regular lifting and moving of 10-25 lbs.

• Incumbent must also have the ability to count accurately and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and record, balance and check results for accuracy.
