Electrician
Title: Licensed Electrician (C11 or CR11)
Type: Full-Time; Temp to Hire
Location: North Phoenix - 85085
Pay Range: $37-40/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for industrial systems, ensuring all work complies with national and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, fixtures, panels, and other components.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, adhering to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Document work performed, including daily logs, timesheets, and safety reports.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in good working condition, reporting any issues or repairs needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
- Valid commercial or electrical license required.
- 3+ years of experience as an electrician in a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality, with a proven track record of maintaining a safe work environment.
