Job Description

Position Overview:

BittWare, a Molex subsidiary, is looking for a talented Continuous Integration Engineer who has the experience and desire to take ownership of the planning and implementation from the ground up of a nightly automated build and test environment. The effort will involve multiple software projects and may eventually extend into automated build and test of FPGA chip designs. The successful candidate will work autonomously but must also collaborate with team members across engineering disciplines to drive productivity enhancements for the team.

This job is based in Concord, NH.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage our code repository and implement automated builds after check-in.
  • Improve existing test infrastructure while working towards nightly tests on multiple hardware platforms.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ experience with automated builds and testing.
  • 3+ years’ demonstrated fluency in a scripting language.
  • 1+ years’ experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems at the command line scripting level.
  • 1+ years’ experience with project automation / continuous integration tools.
  • 1+ years’ experience with version control systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with GitLab or Jenkins automation software.
  • Exposure to Agile design methodology.
  • Python scripting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Git or Subversion experience.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Very good interpersonal skills as this role is an internal support function
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and productively
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies
  • Ability to work effectively both independently or on a team
  • Willingness and ability to document your work
