Robert Half Technology is seeking a Sr. .Net Developer. As a Sr. .Net Developer for the Digital Operations team, you are responsible for the collaboration, planning, software engineering, SDLC methodology, implementation, and ongoing support of the Next Generation Digital Experience NGDE platform. As a key member of the software engineering team, you ensure the right NGDX features and functionality are implemented in order to meet the needs of our Consumers, Customers and Members for our next generation digital experience, prioritizing the development efforts appropriately, facilitating them while working on the most efficient development of the NGDX platform based on industry standard software engineering best practices.

Under general direction, has duties of creating world-class software in an agile SDLC environment working in a team’s structure with other programming personnel;
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results;
Responsible for the complying with the software development lifecycle methodology for the team as defined by the leadership of the department;
Responsible for collaborating with lead developers on program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation;
Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming;
Responsible for quality assurance review;
Responsible for providing senior .NET development level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise’s architecture and related integrations;
Advises on designs and standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals;
Documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards;
Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate;
Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new development technologies to better serve the enterprise s architecture needs;
Adheres to and champions industry standard best practices around software engineering.

Designs, develops, codes, tests, and debugs software components of high complexity;
Provides expert support for definition/refinement of business requirements and for quality assurance/acceptance testing efforts;
Provides implementation, production, and upgrade support for software components of high complexity;
Actively participates in the development and maintenance of user and technical documentation according to department standards.
Other duties as needed
The successful Sr. .Net Developer will have: Minimum qualifications: 7+ years of IT industry experience; 5+ years in Microsoft .Net Development; Experience in .NET software development projects in an agile SDLC team environment; Languages: C#, .NET Core, CSS3+, HTML5 Responsive, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XAML, JSON, JSP, JAVA, VB Script, Scala, SQL, C++, Xcode Objective C; Web API: Dell Boomi APIM, Web Services, WCF, MVC, REST, SOAP; Web: .Net MVC, JSP, Angular, Web Forms, ASP; Mobile: Responsive Web, Native Development: Xamarin for iOS and Android or native Xcode; Experience with Sitecore development a plus; Testing & deployment: Loadrunner, Quality Center, or equivalent; Code Quality & Security: OWASP, Static and Dynamic code scanning for security and quality; Bachelor's Degree Plus.
