We bring together sophisticated analytics capabilities, risk transfer and transactional expertise to provide advice and counsel to our clients. We help these clients interpret the data to guide their decisions surrounding the management of their risk portfolio.

As a Catastrophe Risk Modeling Analyst you will…

… be immersed in all aspects of front line analytical work for our insurance clients including:

* Learning and applying catastrophe modeling data sets
* Interpreting model outputs and preparing written reports
* Presenting analyses to clients and prospective clients
* Real-time reporting and analysis of natural disasters and supporting clients post-event
* Working with large data sets to develop insights and potential solutions
* Participation in the REACH learning program, our two year development program

New York, NY, Minneapolis, MA, Seattle, WA or Philadelphia, PA

Required/Your Qualifications:

* A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university - preferred backgrounds include engineering, mathematics, economics, finance and sciences
* Passion and desire to strengthen your Insurance, Risk and Reinsurance knowledge
* Desire to build strong internal and external relationships at all levels of the business
* Solid Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Desire and strive to take on early responsibility
* Willing and able to act as a standout colleague
* Depth of skill in quantitative analysis and database management
* Programming skills, SQL preferred
* Actuarial Exam(s), GIS, and/or familiarity with data manipulation software are a plus

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. * Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
