Job Description

Facilities Maintenance Technician

Manufacturing Facilities Maintenance Technician with building/manufacturing plant maintenance experience is needed to provide support of 24/7 manufacturing plant facilities operations. This includes operation of utility equipment monitoring, and maintenance of the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) utilities as well as corrective and preventative maintenance of Utility Equipment. Military veterans (Navy-Machinist Mate) with maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. (This Flex Shift position – no set hours)

Responsibilities for the Facilities Maintenance Technician

  • Assists in performing and arranging required maintenance activities to

  • insure efficient and reliable operations Utility systems, and equipment of the manufacturing pant, Warehouse, and office areas.

  • Generates and maintains associated documentation utilizing but not limited to all cGMP guidelines and follow and understand standard operating procedures as outlined.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly manufacturing plant areas to insure continuous inspection readiness.

  • Conducts plant monitoring, alarm and emergency response, to support manufacturing plant and warehouse operations. This includes but is not limited to chillers, air handlers, high purity water systems, clean steam generators, and utility equipment.

  • Performs troubleshooting of critical facility equipment

  • Incumbent will be required to carry a cellular phone and to be on call to support Manufacturing operations. Waste Water License 1-I a plus or the ability to obtain within 1 year of employment

Requirements for the Facilities Maintenance Technician

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated abilities and/or evidence of training in repair, operation, andtroubleshooting of and utility systems

  • Basic aptitude with Microsoft Word/Excel

  • Relevant experience in manufacturing cGMP, Bio-pharmaceutical, petrochemical, packaging, and/or power generation industries is a plus..
