As an High Hazards Utility Engineer, you will be the primary contact for providing technical expertise and technical support for high hazard utility systems such as boilers, compressed air, chilled water and other similar systems. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Act as the subject matter expert related to all high hazard utility systems at the Oak Hill site Own the site energy (CO2) and water reduction/conservations programs - ownership of the program Work closely with the site Process Safety engineer to ensure all HAZID, Process Hazard Studies and documents related to Basis of Safety are up to date at all times Implementation of minor capital projects to improve efficiency and ways of working to ensure no production interruptions due to utility supply issues Project management of safety remediation work as required. Work closely with site Enterprise Facilities Management (EFM) partner to ensure safe operation of all high hazard utility systems Support accidents or near miss investigations related to facilities and utility areas Work on the implementation of the Site EHS Maturity Program related to High Hazard Utilities Developing Operating and Maintenance Procedures related to Utilities, Facilities and High Hazard systems Gap analysis for relevant EHS and/or Engineering standards Implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Change Controls and investigation processes related to Utilities/Facilities area, when applicable. Ensure utilities Maintenance and Calibration routines are being implemented in compliance with statutory and GSK expectations. Manage CMMS system for implementation and closure of maintenance/calibration routines Why you?
