Factory Cleaning Equipment by Jon-Don LLC. is a market leader in the industrial floor cleaning machine and chemical industry. With offices in Aurora, IL, Charlotte, NC, Lakeland, FL, Euless, TX, and Savannah, GA selling the top brands of industrial cleaning equipment and our private branded cleaning chemicals we have achieved double-digit profit growth for each of the last 5 years.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

General
  • Create a safe, positive and engaging work environment for all employees
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings
  • Work with all departments to ensure the continued growth and compliance with all company policies
  • Customer Service, Dispatch, Sales, Accounting
  • Aid in development and implementation of standards for each department overseen
  • Dispatch
  • Schedule Inside Technicians and Drivers
  • Communicate daily with the Service Dispatch team
  • Urgent or time sensitive work orders to the schedule
  • Parts arrived - Work order is "Ready to Schedule"
  • Next day schedule review
  • Work through dispatch for any changes that need to be made on the schedule
  • Follow Work Order from Scheduling to Invoicing
  • Pull "In Stock" parts before submitting any parts orders
  • Transfer parts to the correct inventory site in QuickBooks
  • Work with parts department on aging work orders with outstanding parts orders
  • Submit Rental and Sale Recon Builds
  • Take new pictures of Recon equipment to submit with the build

Inventory
  • Manage on-site parts, chemical and equipment inventory
  • Receive in parts and chemical to QuickBooks and save packing slips to the correct company file
  • Conduct scheduled cycle counts on parts and chemical
  • Ensure all chemical is labeled, stored and transported according to company guidelines
  • Conduct weekly equipment inventory count
  • Schedule and prioritize equipment repairs to maximize rental fleet availability
  • Process Equipment as it shows up to the branch (New, Trade-Ins, Transfers)
  • Notifty appropriate departments
  • Take Picture
  • Tag Equipment
  • Ensure equipment is thoroughly cleaned, repaired, and tested upon rental return
  • All rental equipment should have a rental checklist completed
  • Ensure all equipment is tested before leaving for demonstrations or rental deliveries
  • Ensure all equipment statuses are up-to-date
  • Manage shop tools and hardware account

Rental/Logistics
  • Maintain Rental Agreements
  • Schedule rental Deliveries and Pickups
  • Submit rental extensions
  • Work with Road Dispatch for in field issues on rental equipment
  • Work with EQsales team on customer ship outs and internal equipment transfers
  • Schedule 3rd party rollbacks (as necessary)
  • Work with the Inside Sales Team to stay consistent with sending estimates and gaining PMs

Building/Vehicles
  • Responsible to oversee company fleet for branch
  • Schedule repairs and regular maintenance
  • Rent vehicles for extended downtimes as to not affect branch operations
  • Ensure all company vehicles are equipped with tracking device
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of facility and other company assets
  • Conduct monthly safety meeting (as advised by JonDon)
  • Purchase office supplies for branch

Direct Reports:
  • Driver/Warehouse Associates
  • Rental Technicians
  • Recon Technicians (where applicable)
  • Road Technicians
  • Help with hiring and training development of new hires
  • Document and discipline employees, up to and including termination
  • Manage timecards, time off, and payroll

P&L Responsibilities
  • Manage facility costs (Water, Electric, etc.)
  • Manage employee expenses and overtime

Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 1-2 year(s) supervisory/ leadership experience
  • At least 2-3 years of recent inside/ retail sales experience
