A banking services company in Michigan is currently seeking a new QA Test Analyst for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. In this role, the QA Test Analyst will be responsible for playing a key role in implementing successful QA processes in a mission critical vertical.

Responsibilities:

• Development of the testing artifacts required for each assigned initiative


• Overseeing the assigned QA personnel on the project, in all levels of test execution


• Participating in test execution, as necessary


• Evaluating testing results and logged issues/defects


• Communicating testing results, level of quality, and product readiness to QA Management and the Project team


• Participating in release planning and product roll-out


• Identifying gaps in the QA and testing processes, and work with QA Manager to address them


• Providing guidance to less experienced QA personnel


• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related work experience


• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other related field of study


• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, concepts, and processes.


• Excellent testing skills


• Strong SQL skills: ability to create complex queries


• Proficiency with Test Management tools (e.g., qTest, JIRA, Quality Center)


• Strong knowledge of, and experience in, Agile methodology and related processes


• Great interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Strong attention to detail


• Highly organized

• Knowledge of FICO origination manager


• Software development experience


• Ability to define requirements/user stories
