Axalta Coating Systems LTD High Point, NC Full-Time
Primary Responsibilities

The global inventory leader will have full responsibility for inventory process control and performance across the Axalta Supply Chain. This newly created role will be responsible for the development of the inventory control process across the global supply chain and three business units. The Global Inventor Leader will establish the process, KPIs, operating rhythms and governance for inventory management by partnering with the business unit supply chain directors and procurement teams to achieve optimal inventory stocking levels for raw materials and finished goods. This role will have a team of analysts reporting to it. This global role directs the development and implementation of inventory policies, standards, technologies and procedures. Inventory policies include guidelines defining and classifying inventory, calculation rules for inventory metrics, standardization of roles and responsibilities, and improvement in inventory management maturity. You will develop and implement a cross functional inventory governance structure. This position reports to the Director of Integrated Supply Chain Process. This position can be located at any of our operationg locations or offices throughout the United States.

* Build and lead a team of inventory analysts dedicated to improving inventory metrics and analytical capabilities
* Monitor and reports financial, operating, and statistical progress as related to inventory plans.
* Provide forecasts of the results of current operations.
* Keep international 'clients' informed and up to date on inventory policies, goals, and accounting requirements.
* Communicate inventory goal expectations to regional management teams, and help organize workflow, appraising positive job results and coaching.
* Report monthly inventory levels and gap analysis to target, as an important part of the monthly IBP process.

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years relevant experience OR Associates Degree with 8+ years relevant experience OR 10+ years of relevant experience
* Six years of business experience with clear progression in roles and responsibilities in supply chain planning and manufacturing operations
* Strong working knowledge of inventory, manufacturing and supply chain, including financial reporting in each area
* Solid experience in leading cross functional teams
* Sound working knowledge of database management applications, statistics and analytical tools
* Demonstrated competency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software applications
* A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
* Conceptual, analytical and organizational skills for developing processes and procedures
* Effective communicator with all levels of management, and ability to coach and develop accountable, diverse global leaders who inspire and motivate others
* Ability to forge collaboration across all levels of the global supply chain, with the ability to influence others in the absence of direct management authority
* Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results

Highly Qualified Candidates

* A Master's Degree is preferred
* A degree in in Business, Operations, Statistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred
* Previous work experience with QADEE, IQR, and BI tools
