Sr IT Administrator

Greenlight Professional Services Gaithersburg, MD Contractor

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, configuring, maintaining a standalone Linux Development environment using the Atlassian ToolChain
  • Deploy/configure/maintain LDAP/Active Directory for user authentication/authorization
  • Deploy/configure/maintain Windows Servers and Linux Servers and software, performing periodic upgrades and security patches
  • Deploy/configure/maintain software configuration database (GIT)
  • Deploy/configure/maintain Mail Server, Database, Backups
  • Responsible for planning, configuring, maintaining two to three IT test labs and associated infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Experience with IT network security best practices, applying policies and performing routine IT security scans and generating reports

Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a large networking environment Installing, maintaining, patching, and troubleshooting for RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu Linux, Windows 20XX servers and clients
  • 4+ years’ advanced Unix scripting, Shell and Perl skills
  • 4+ years’ experience with Atlassian ToolChain, NFS, NIS, LDAP, ActiveDirectory, VMWare, Docker, Nessus
  • 4+ years of experience with configuring Routers/Firewalls for small to medium IT networks
