As a Proposal Coordinator, you have an integral role in assisting the sales team with attaining new business and retaining existing customers through the writing and submission of effective proposals. You will have the ability to learn all aspects of a proposal cycle, and there will be opportunity to grow in your proposal writing technique.

What You'll be Doing

The Proposal Coordinator supports the RFP Team by assessing incoming proposals, communicating with all team members on a project, organizing the logistics of a proposal cycle, managing and leveraging RFP automation software, scheduling necessary team meetings, assembling RFP binders for shipping, and reviewing proposals for grammar, flow, and persuasiveness.

Skills - Writing, editing, computer proficiency, strong communication skills, detail oriented, deadline driven, ability to multitask

Knowledge - Marketing, sales, understanding of technology a plus, knowledge of proposal software a plus

Behavior - Resourcefulness, initiative, organization, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability

Education/Experience - Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or other related field; Prior RFP experience a plus

Physical Demands - This position consists mostly of sitting in a climate-controlled environment, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., occasional bending and standing

What's Good to Know

The Proposal Coordinator position is eligible for overtime on an as-needed basis. No travel is required with the position.

Who You'll Work With

The Proposal Coordinator will work closely with Proposal Writers and the Proposal Manager daily. You will also work with colleagues in other departments, to include sales, support, pre-sales, and marketing. You will communicate professionally with staff of all levels, to include executive-level managers.
